About SomaPsyche

SomaPsyche comes from the integration of soma (body) and psyche (mind/spirit). It reflects a core belief that there is no true separation between body and mind — a concept articulated by disability studies scholar Margaret Price through the framework of the bodymind, which recognizes thinking, feeling, sensation, and physiology as inseparable expressions of one living system.

Our work honors the bodymind as a dynamic, living system shaped by relationships, lived experience, identity, and the political and cultural contexts that influence how we survive, connect, and belong, integrating somatic and relational therapy to foster embodiment, integrity, and aliveness.
